How does ultra-high-speed laser cladding work?
Ultra-high-speed laser cladding is a development of laser cladding. The laser process looks like conventional laser cladding but the temperature insert is completely different. Ultra-high-speed laser cladding creates a metallic connection with very little heat. This technique is extremely suited for material that is sensitive to deformation, such as thin materials and small wear-resistant compartments. It is suited for applying wear-resistant, corrosion protection or repair coatings and is a good alternative for hard chrome.
We can apply coatings on nickel, iron, titanium and cobalt. These layers are thin, easy to re-melt, corrosion-protective and impact resistant. The process can be easily customized to the desired application due to the many setting options.
