Versatile coating with special properties
CZL Tilburg has provided customers guaranteed, perfectly even phosphorous nickel coatings for decades now using a highly developed process of electroless nickel-plating.
Electroless nickel-plating is a chemical process whereby a surface is furnished with a coating of nickel and phosphorous. This coating, also known as chemical or electroless nickel-plating, is applied to such things as high-value technical components and machine parts. The big advantage of electroless nickel-plating as opposed to the usual galvanising process is the extremely even distribution of the coating. This uniformity in coating thickness is precise to just a few microns.
The electroless nickel-plating process of CZL Tilburg controls the phosphorous concentration in the alloy to perfection. This guarantees that all the desired properties such as resistance to corrosion, durability and mechanical workability are successfully achieved.

High and medium phosphorus
CZL Tilburg offers various types of electroless nickel coating, including high and medium phosphorous.
A high phosphorous nickel coating has a phosphorous content of 10-12%, is not magnetic, and has a superior resistance to corrosion. Medium phosphorous nickel has a phosphorous content of 6-9%, is resistant to corrosion, ferromagnetic, and can be used for a multiplicity of purposes.
CZL Tilburg can apply currentless nickel to virtually any material, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze.

Hard and durable
Electroless nickel has good hardness and high durability even without follow-up treatment. Using a special heat treatment however, CZL Tilburg can raise the level of hardness even further for you.
You may regard it a serious contender to replace other durable coatings.

Duplex layers nickel hard chromium
CZL Tilburg offers you the option of combining a electroless nickel layer with a hard chromium top layer. This creates a dimensionally stable coating which has both the anticorrosive properties of nickel and the superior durability of hard chromium plating.

Options
Besides the production facility for single pieces, repetition work and prototypes, CZL Tilburg also offers the option of 24 hour service and nickel-plating in accordance with special standards such as AMS 2404, AMS 2405 and MIL-C-26074.

In our production line we can chemically nickel-plate products to a maximum length of 1800 mm and a maximum weight of 1000 kg.
