Blackprotect® black nickel

CZL Tilburg has succeeded to develop a perfect black coating which is 100 % free from Chromium (VI), Lead and Cadmium. This innovative black nickel process meets EU-directive RoHS. The black nickel phosphorous layer can be applied in optical instruments, as light absorbing material and for decorative purposes. The process is also applicable in aviation and aerospace applications.

Remarks : The layer is RoHS ELV compatible and UV-stable. The black colour gives a low light reflection in wave lenght ranging from 200nm till 900nm (measurement rapport is available).

The layer may not be heated above 150°C.
