Extremely hard and durable top coating with low coefficient of friction
The diamond-like coating of the Finnish company DIARC® Technology Inc. is used worldwide to give various types of material an extremely hard and durable coating which also has a low coefficient of friction. CZL Tilburg is the exclusive distributor of DIARC® technology in the Benelux.
Added value indisputable
The treatment with DIARC® changes the basic properties of a surface. These changes relate mainly to increased hardness and a greater resistance to abrasion/wear and tear in combination with perfect running qualities. The added value of DIARC® has been indisputably proven, particularly on components that are crucial to the reliability of a piece of equipment. The diamond-like coating, applied at a temperature of < 200ºC, also serves as an excellent alternative in places where a lubricant-free running surface is required in connection with clean room or vacuum specifications.
Demonstrable improvement in performance
The 1-5 micrometre thick DIARC® coating guarantees less wear and tear and a reduction in abrasive friction, thus increasing both the durability and trouble-free deployment of treated components.
After application of the DIARC® coating the performance of equipment, motors and machines is demonstrably improved. DIARC® prevents undesired cold-welding effects, and as a bonus also increases the durability of tools without undermining the required tolerances throughout the time of passage.
